Location and Access
Alexander'S Lodge is 100 km from Seattle-Tacoma International. It is 1.3 miles from the Nisqually Entrance of Mount Rainier National Park and 12.5 miles from the Mount Rainier Scenic Railroad & Museum. Nearby landmarks include Lake George (5 km), Mount Rainier National Park (2 km), and Nisqually Entrance Historic District (2 km). It takes about 2 hours to drive from our lodge to Crystal Mountain/ Sunrise area. We are closer to Paradise area of Mt. Rainier. Guests can follow the Trail of the Shadows, located across the road from the National Park Inn at Longmire, to the trail junction.
Services and Facilities
The lodge has a gift shop and an event space. It can host winter weddings, family reunions, high school reunions, church group retreats, off-site leadership meetings, corporate conferences, team building events, yoga, spiritual retreats, trade conferences, and company training sessions. The great room seats up to 50 people and features a fireplace. Elopement packages are offered between November and April, excluding long weekends, Christmas, and Thanksgiving holidays. Travel insurance is available through independent providers. A cleaning fee for dogs is $25 per night per dog, with a maximum of two dogs and a weight limit of 30 pounds.
“The lodge stands near Mount Rainier's entrance, and its 120-year history certainly gives it character. Individually styled rooms offer a refreshing change from typical hotels, and I appreciate that dogs (under 30 pounds) are welcome. Nature trails right outside add to the appeal, though limited dining options nearby means you may want to plan ahead.”
