Rooms at Eagle Rock
Eagle Rock Lodge features rooms in the main lodge and detached Forest House. Each room includes A/C, complimentary Wi-Fi, a small refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee maker with coffee packets, robes, and luxury toiletries. The Osprey Suite, located upstairs in the main lodge, includes a Mission Style king bed and views of the McKenzie River. The Damselfly Room, located on the first floor of the main lodge, has two bedrooms each with one queen bed and accommodates a maximum of four adults. The Mayfly Room, located on the first floor of the Forest House, has a queen bed, a gas fireplace, two leather easy chairs, and a two-person jetted tub. The Songbird Room, located in the Forest House, features a king Mission-style bed, a sitting area with a gas fireplace, a two-person jetted tub, and a private covered patio. The Owl Room, on the second floor in the main lodge, has a king bed, a private deck, and views of the McKenzie River. The Nest Room, located on the 2nd floor of the Forest House, includes two queen beds and dining area. Caddisfly Room is the ADA accessible room with a queen bed, electric fireplace, private bath, and brick paver patio.
Dining at Eagle Rock
All stays include a full cooked to order breakfast each morning and a complimentary glass of wine and snack in the afternoon. Food is served to the guests at breakfast in the main lodge. The cooked to order breakfast starts with fresh fruit, homemade granola, fruit juice, and one of Eagle Rock Lodge Innkeeper Lisa's baked specialties. Entrees include Marion Berry Stuffed French Toast, Avocado Toast, Tofu Scramble, Poached Egg Stackers and Eggs 'your way' served with bacon, sausage patty, vegetarian sausage or local link sausage. Guests can use the grill on the back deck of the lodge or on the patio of the Forest House.
Leisure and Activities
Eagle Rock Lodge has over 400 feet of river frontage and almost five acres of gardens with areas to rest. Guests can fish off the banks with a fishing license. The lodge provides access to fly fishing, whitewater rafting, and hiking the McKenzie River Recreation Trail. Nearby activities include the Aufderheide Scenic Drive (10 miles east), and Proxy Falls. Tokatee Golf Club is 11 miles east. Hoodoo Ski Park is one hour east.
Location and Access
Eagle Rock Lodge is located near Eugene, OR and is 80 km from Eugene/Mahlon Sweet Field. The property is nestled on almost five acres of gardens, forest, and riverside. The lodge is located on Hwy 126 East at milepost 34.5. Nearby dining options include Takoda's Restaurant (11 miles upriver), McKenzie Bridge General Store/Obsidian Grill (14 miles upriver), and McKenzie Station Restaurant and Bar (14 miles upriver).
Services & Accessibility
Eagle Rock Lodge is inspected annually by the County inspector. The lodge has one room that can accommodate most ADA requirements: the Caddisfly Room. Handicap access to the main lodge/breakfast room is available via a wooden ramp at the back of the main lodge building. Fur buddies (cats confined to carriers) are allowed in rooms in the Forest House (Songbird, Mayfly and Caddisfly) with an additional charge of $50 per dog or cat per stay (no more than 2 dogs allowed in Songbird - only one dog allowed in Caddisfly and Mayfly). In order to establish a dog is a Psychiatric Support Animal (PSA) and protected by the ADA, we need a letter - on letterhead - from a licensed mental health care professional saying the dog is necessary to help the individual manage their disability from their mental illness.
