ERIK'S RANCH, Livingston

Erik's Ranch provides distinct lodging options. Sophia's House has one bedroom with a queen-size bed, a bathroom, a living area with a trundle bed, a kitchen, and an outdoor grill. The Creekside Cabin, dating back to 1910, features one bedroom with a queen bed and a pull-out sofa. It includes a kitchen and a bathroom. The Roundup Room at the Stables offers a queen size bed and a western style. These rooms are part of working stables located in the Absaroka Mountains.

Guests can engage in activities. These include guided horseback treks along the Blue Flower Trail and hikes to Chimney Rock. Chimney Rock is a giant rock on a hill overlooking the Absaroka, Bridger, and Gallatin mountain ranges. Guests can groom horses, tack them up, and ride in the indoor arena. Fly fishing excursions on the Yellowstone River are available in partnership with Yellowstone Angler. Whitewater rafting is also available with guides down the Yellowstone River.

Erik's Ranch is 55 km from Bozeman Yellowstone International. It is located 45 minutes from Yellowstone National Park and 20 minutes from Livingston. The ranch is situated in Paradise Valley near the Absaroka mountains.

Erik's Ranch provides a living, working, and social environment for young adults with autism. These young adults operate the guest accommodations. They work as concierge staff, tour guides, and horse grooms. Erik's Ranch includes a therapeutic riding program with a riding stable overlooking the Absaroka mountains. It has gentle therapy horses.

Guests can volunteer on projects ranging from fence repair to landscaping. Volunteer trips include lodging in The Lodge at Erik's Ranch in Livingston, MT, with four bedrooms. Transportation to and from Bozeman International Airport, meals and building materials are covered by the project donation.
