Rooms at the Ranch
Lone Mountain Ranch provides log cabins, ranging from one to six bedrooms. The one-bedroom cabins feature king-sized beds, queen sleeper sofas, wood stoves, and full baths. Some cabins include sitting areas, front porches, desks, and walk-in tile showers. The Ridgetop Lodge includes six bedrooms, accommodating up to three guests each, two fireplaces, an outdoor deck, a hot tub, a pool table, cable TV, Wi-Fi, a full kitchen, and laundry. B-K, built in 1936, features two private suites with king-sized beds, en-suite bathrooms, a bunk room with three twin beds and a full-size bed. Douglas Fir House includes two rooms with queen beds, a family suite downstairs with a queen and two twin beds, and an open loft with two twin beds. Cabins feature carpeted floors, coffee machines, and heating.
Horn & Cantle Dining
Lone Mountain Ranch features Horn & Cantle Restaurant, The Saloon, and dining experiences. Horn & Cantle's menu features ingredients grown locally and sourced from Montana purveyors. The Ranch hosts wineries and friends from local breweries and distilleries. Guests can dine at Big Sky's Horn & Cantle Restaurant, The Saloon, or enjoy sleigh ride dinners.
Activities at Lone Mountain
Lone Mountain Ranch guests can fly fish, horseback ride, and access Yellowstone National Park. Skiing includes 85 kilometers of Nordic trails and downhill slopes. There are 53 miles of trails for hiking. The Ranch provides access to the Gallatin and Madison Rivers for fly fishing. Activities include a 3-D archery course with life-size targets, and axe throwing. There is an Orvis-Endorsed Fly-Fishing Lodge. The Ranch can arrange excursions with Yellowstone Dog Sled Adventures and Spirit of the North. Additional activities include canoeing, golf, rock climbing, ziplining, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, helicopter tours, and hot air ballooning. A youth program builds confidence through outdoor recreation. There is access to yoga classes.
