QUILLAYUTE RIVER RESORT, Forks

Six suites on the Quillayute River, each with a porch overlooking the river. Units include a living room with gas fireplace, river and garden views, and a private bathroom with heated tile floors and bath/shower combo. Cabin #4 has a king bed, full kitchen, and soundproof windows that open to hear the river. Interiors are separated by storage rooms, so no shared walls with neighbors.

Every suite has a fully equipped kitchen with pots, pans, utensils, a knife block, and basic spices like chili powder and olive oil. Coffee and tea provided. An outdoor charcoal BBQ grill is on the patio. Forks, a 10-minute drive, has a grocery store and fast-food restaurants. Grab takeout from the burger counter down the road.

Onsite: a games room with board games, a library for puzzles or reading, kids' outdoor play equipment, an outdoor fireplace, picnic area, and a short loop trail through the forest (Samantha's Loop). Hummingbird feeders hang outside each window. The river is perfect for tubing or watching bald eagles, kingfishers, and ducks.

On the banks of the Quillayute River where the Sol Duc and Bogachiel meet. Rialto Beach is 4.5 miles away (10-minute drive). Close to La Push, Ruby Beach, and Sol Duc Falls. Hoh Rainforest is about an hour's drive. Forks has a grocery store and fast food. Free parking and an electric vehicle charging station are available.

Free WiFi and parking (including EV charging). Laundry room open 10am-4pm (no charge). Meeting/banquet facilities, shared lounge/TV area. Non-smoking, soundproof rooms, heating, and smoke alarms. Management responds quickly to texts. Daily housekeeping provides fresh towels. Check-in is flexible; luggage can be stored before check-in.
