Rainbow Ranch Lodge provides lodging, including Ermine Suite, Riverside Rooms, and Pondside Rooms. The Ermine Suite features 1 King bed, a leather couch (converts to a Full bed), two indoor fireplaces, one outdoor fireplace, and a walk-out porch overlooking the trout pond and Gallatin River. The renovated bathroom includes a soaking tub, glass walk-in shower, double vanity, separate toilet room, and closet. Riverside Luxury rooms offer 1 Queen bed, a leather sofa (converts to a Full bed), a river rock wood-burning fireplace, and a deck overlooking the Gallatin River. Pondside Deluxe rooms have 2 Queen beds in two separate sleeping areas and a walk-out porch overlooking the trout pond and the Gallatin River. Pondside Luxury rooms include 1 King bed, a river rock wood-burning fireplace, and a walk-out porch overlooking the trout pond and Gallatin River. In-room amenities include sprinklers and a telephone. The nightly rates are based on double occupancy and children under 5 years stay free. A $40 fee is charged per dog (up to 2 dogs, $60).
Dining at Wild Caddis
The Wild Caddis Restaurant is located along the Gallatin River. It offers Montana-inspired cuisine and drinks. The culinary team uses locally produced food. The new menu includes elk ragout with winter pear and gorgonzola ravioli, grana Padano and crispy leeks, and split pea soup with maple glazed pork belly, lemon crema and cornbread. The bar offers barrel-aged and artisanal cocktails, and an award-winning wine list. The Wild Caddis is open to the public from 5pm to 9pm daily and offers mountain views from the covered deck next to the fireplace or in the fine dining restaurant. Cocktails include the Love Grows Gimlet (Boss Tweed Old Tom Gin, house-made rosemary-infused simple syrup, and lime juice), the Filthy Vodka Martini with a Blue Cheese Stuffed Olive, and the Clark Griswold (Grind Espresso Rum, Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey, homemade eggnog whipped cream, and nutmeg). Continental breakfast is available with pancakes, french toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, fresh fruit, and yogurt.
Leisure and Activities
Rainbow Ranch Lodge offers recreational activities for all seasons. In summer, guests can go fly fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and explore Yellowstone National Park (70 km away). Montana Whitewater and Yellowstone Aerial Adventures offer zip lining trips and high ropes courses. The Lemonknob Loop Trail is across the bridge and takes you through Montana flowers with a lookout across National Forest land. In winter, guests can ski at Big Sky Resort, Moonlight Basin and cross-country ski at Lone Mountain Ranch or relax with spa services. Big Sky Resort is over 40 miles of lift accessible mountain biking, zip-lining, and tram expeditions. The elegantly styled hot tub overlooks the Gallatin River. Live music takes place every Wednesday. Lawn games are also available.
