Riverside Lodging
The Redfish Riverside Inn is located in Stanley, Idaho. It is 100 km from Friedman Memorial. It is at the junction of Highway 21 and Highway 75. The inn provides a base-camp for connections to the Salmon River and Redfish Lake. Each unit features a kitchenette with dishes and cookware.
Room Features
The Riverside Building has seven rooms with views of the Salmon River and deck access. The Osprey Suite and Mountain View Suite have private porches with views. The Rangers Cabin has a private deck and is next to the Sawtooth Lodge Building. The double room has a private bathroom with a bath, an electric kettle, a flat-screen TV and a terrace. The unit offers one or two beds. Units feature kitchenettes, refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers, satellite TVs, and high-speed internet. Linens and towels are provided. Smoking is not permitted inside units or on the decks. Two pet-friendly rooms are available in the Sawtooth Lodge: #21 and #22.
Things to Do
Guests can rent single or double inflatable kayaks for floating down the Salmon River. There is a shuttle service to return guests to the inn. Balance Bike Works provides winter fat bike rentals and drops the bike off at the Inn. The inn provides a shuttle to Redfish Lake Lodge.

Area activities include camping, hiking, backpacking, fishing, boating, canoeing, rafting, nature observation, photography, bicycling, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling. Fishing is available in the Main Salmon River and the Middle Fork of the Salmon River. The Stanley-Sawtooth area has West Slope Cutthroat trout, Rainbow trout, Bull trout, hybrid Cutbow trout, Brook trout, Lake trout, Mountain Whitefish, and Chinook salmon. The Sawtooth Mountains, Whitecloud Range, and Salmon River Valley offer hiking. A trip to the Yankee Fork and the ghost town of Custer is an hour drive.
