The Lodge at Suttle Lake is a small woodsy retreat with 26 rooms and cabins. Some rooms feature a fireplace and a coffee machine. You need extra linens for the day beds. Cabin 8 provides unique acoustics for musicians and recording artists, a quiet place of solace for writing, and an intimate place for creative contemplation and creation. There is a big private deck that is prime for grilling and hanging by the fire.
Dining On-Site
The Suttle Lodge & Boathouse has a restaurant and bar in Camp Sherman. The menu is the same for all three options. A Communal Welcome Meal will be organized at the beginning of each residency. The Welcome Meal allows the guest artist to interact with staff while enjoying food prepared by a talented chef. A different musician plays almost every Thursday inside The Skip Bar & Restaurant. You can grill out on the traeger grill on the large deck.
Activities Available
Active guests can go hiking or mountain biking on the surrounding trails as well as swimming or fly-fishing in the lake. Amenities include a small on-site spa and plenty of organized summer activities, including fly-fishing, rafting, and mountain biking.
