TIMBERLINE LODGE, Government Camp

Timberline Lodge provides rooms with satellite TV, original handcrafted furniture, artwork, and textiles. Triple rooms have a queen and twin bed, or a queen bed with space for a rollaway. Twin rooms offer 2 beds. All rooms include heating and European-inspired decor with handcrafted furniture and shared bathrooms. Some rooms feature a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi.

Timberline Lodge features the Cascade Dining Room, showcasing a culinary program inspired by the region's craftsmanship. On weekdays, guests presenting their lift ticket in the Cascade Dining Room get $10 off the lunch buffet and $5 off for kids 11 and under. The lodge supports Oregon State's hop breeding research by featuring promising hop varieties from Mt. Hood Brewing Co.

Timberline Lodge offers activities, including skiing and snowboarding. The Magic Mile chairlift provides access to Palmer Glacier, where summer skiing takes place. The Timberline Bike Park requires a lift ticket, helmet, close-toed shoes, and functioning brakes. Bike rentals and private lessons are available. Guests can visit the Timberline Freestyle Training Center, featuring terrain parks and handle tow service. Other activities include snowshoeing, with rentals available at $27 per person, per day. In summer, guests can ride the Magic Mile chairlift, hike around Mt. Hood, or access the Pacific Crest Trail.

Timberline Lodge is 95 km from Portland International Airport. Nearby landmarks include Paradise Park Loop Trail (4 km), Mississippi Head (3 km), Palmer Glacier (2 km), and Mt Hood Cultural Center and Museum (4 km). The lodge is located within Mt. Hood National Forest. Skiers and snowboarders can take the Timberline Resort Shuttle from Summit Pass in Government Camp to Timberline.

Timberline Lodge offers various services, including Timberline Mountain Guides for mountaineering. Lift tickets can be purchased at the Mile Ticket Office, Guest Services in the Day Lodge, or the Front Desk. The lodge provides access to the Timberline Freestyle Training Center (FTC), with a $130 lift ticket that includes access to all public ski and snowboarding areas. Private ski and snowboard lessons are available for all ages and skill levels. Packages can be picked up in the Wy'East Day Lodge, with a $10 package pick-up fee. A shower is available for Pacific Crest Trail hikers in the Salmon River Parking Lot.
