Whitebird Summit Lodge, the largest vacation rental in North Central Idaho, features 7 rooms to accommodate 16+ people. The Family Room includes the Warrior and Chief rooms, each with 1 full-size bed and three twin beds (two upper bunk beds), air conditioning, ceiling fan, and access to a sitting area with a fireplace and TV. These rooms are windowless for quiet. Four queen rooms are available: the World Travel, Mexican Fiesta, and Wisconsin rooms each have one queen bed and a private patio, while the Buffalo Bill room includes a fireplace. The Summit room features a full-size bed and a jetted tub, also windowless for quiet. All rooms provide private bathrooms, bathrobes, hair dryers, bathroom amenities, heated mattress pads, heated towel racks, complimentary wireless internet, and air conditioning.
Onsite Dining
Guests have full use of the lodge's kitchen and outside BBQ area. Local chefs can cater meals, offering options from 5-star dining to picnic lunches. Treats like chocolate zucchini bread and Italian zucchini soup can be prepared using the lodge's recipes.
Activities and Adventures
The lodge is near the Salmon River, Snake River, and Clearwater River, suitable for whitewater rafting and jet boat tours. Guided trips for Class II and Class III rapids are available. Other activities include hiking, with trails like Fish Creek Loop accessible for summer hiking and biking, and winter cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Skooumchuck offers a spot for picnics by the Lower Salmon River. Guests can explore ATV and motorcycle trails directly from the lodge, with ATV rentals available in White Bird.
