Cold Springs Resort provides cabins and RV sites. Cabins include options like Haberman, the largest, with a private deck, lawn, and Metolius River frontage, sleeping up to eight guests. Riverfront cabins such as Aspen, Cedar, Spruce, and Juniper offer river views and access to a private footbridge. Juniper features French doors to a wrap-around deck with a charcoal grill. Cottages like Willow and Maple overlook Cold Springs Creek, while others such as Larch, Pinecone, Fir, Alder, Tamarack, Yew, and Hemlock are set in the woods. Madrone Cabin offers a queen bedroom downstairs and a loft with a queen bed, a 65" TV, and a custom fireplace. Yew Cabin has a covered deck, a propane fire pit, and a Pit-Boss grill. Hemlock Cabin features meadow and Spring Creek views, a queen bedroom, and a loft bedroom. RV sites include Creekside 1 (50 ft long), Creekside 2, Creekside 3 (up to 38ft motorhome), Creekside 4 (up to 40ft motorhome), Creekside 5, Creekside 6 (up to 45ft motorhome), Creekside 7 (up to 40ft motorhome), Creekside 8 (69ft long), Creekside 10 (up to 40ft motorhome), Creekside 11 (for smaller campers), and Creekside 12 (for smaller trailers).

Cold Springs Resort is near dining options. Within Camp Sherman, guests can find Boone Dog Pizza, R Spot Take Out and Eatery, Tacos el Comal, the Camp Sherman Store, Lake Creek Lodge Dining Room, and Hola Restaurant. Suttle Lake and Black Butte Ranch, each a 10-minute drive away, offer formal and informal dining at The Lodge Restaurant and Boathouse at Suttle Lake and The Lodge Restaurant and Lakeside Bistro at Black Butte. Sisters, OR, also provides many restaurants.

Cold Springs Resort provides access to fly fishing on the Metolius River and hiking trails, including West Metolius/Camp Sherman Loop, West Metolius River Trail, Canyon Creek Meadows Loop, and Black Butte Summit Trail. Biking trails include Suttle Tie and Peterson Ridge Trail System. In winter, guests can snowshoe to the Camp Sherman Store or visit Hoodoo Ski Area, which is 15 minutes away, for skiing and sledding. Other attractions include Wizard Falls Hatchery, Sahalie and Koosah Falls (40-minute drive), and Smith Rock State Park.
