FAR WEST MOTEL, Forks

The motel rooms include a private bathroom with a bath, a shower, and free toiletries, as well as a hairdryer. Each room features a 42-inch HDTV with DISH Network satellite channels, free high-speed fiber internet Wi-Fi, a tea/coffee maker, an alarm clock, a microwave, and a refrigerator. The motel is located two blocks from downtown Forks, within walking distance of restaurants, art galleries, antique shops, and the Forks Timber Museum. The Forks Timber Museum displays exhibits depicting local history dating back to the 1870s. Visitors come to Forks for fishing in nearby lakes, streams, and the ocean, and to see an abundance of wildlife. Forks is the home of the 'Twilight Saga' movie.

Nearby waterfalls include Hi Hi Kwitht, Hoko Falls, Beaver Falls, Sol Duc Falls, Strawberry Bay Falls, Falls Creek Falls, Mineral Creek Falls, Maple Creek Falls, Marymere Falls, Willaby Creek Falls, Gatton Creek Falls, Merriman Falls, and Bunch Creek Falls.

Guests enjoy activities such as fishing, boating, surfing, bird watching, wildlife viewing, hiking, biking, and sightseeing. Hiking trails include the Hall of Mosses Trail, the Spruce Nature Trail, the South Snider Jackson Trail, and the Hoh River Trail. There are also the Sol Duc Falls Trail, Lover's Lane Trail, Ancient Groves Trail, and Mink Lake Trail in the Sol Duc area. Hurricane Ridge is located 17 miles south of Port Angeles. Steelhead fisherman come to fish the Hoh, Sol Duc, and the Bogachiel rivers.
