Good Medicine Lodge provides six rooms, each with a private bathroom and vaulted ceilings. The Huckleberry Suite features a king bed, a gas log fireplace, and a private balcony with a backyard view. The bathroom includes a jetted tub and a two-person therapeutic Swiss shower, with radiant flooring. It also offers a private sitting room. The Great Northern Suite accommodates four people, with a king bedroom that includes a tile shower, and a second bedroom with two twin beds. This suite showcases square cedar log construction. The Glacier Suite includes a king bed in a private bedroom and a queen bed in the common living area, along with a bathroom equipped with a jetted tub and shower. There's also a covered porch, fenced yard, gas grill, and fire pit. The Mountain View room, located on the first floor, features a king bed, a tiled curbless rain shower, and a recycled glass vanity. The Flathead room features native American artwork and a bathroom with a tub, shower, and skylight. The Black Bear room has a king bed (convertible to two XL twin beds), vaulted wood ceilings, a private sky lit bathroom, and a balcony with Big Mountain views. Beargrass features a king bed, gas log fireplace, and outdoor balcony with Big Mountain and garden views.
Dining at Good Medicine
Each morning, a warm breakfast is prepared with fresh, organic, and local ingredients. The lodge uses garden-grown herbs and third-wave style coffee roasted in-house by Good Medicine Coffee. Guests can select menu options the evening prior. Sourdough bread, pastries, butter, local jams, and homemade granola with honey Greek yogurt are included. Fresh in-house roasted and brewed coffee, tea, juice, and fruit salad are also served. A packed breakfast is available with advance notice. All-day refreshments and drinks are complimentary at the drink and snack bar. Bonsai Brewery Project is located right next door.
Leisure and Activities
Guests can traverse courses by crossing cable bridges, climbing rope ladders, and swinging on a trapeze. The park meets the standards of the Association of Challenge Course Technology (ACCT). Enjoy the Alpine Slide, which includes a chairlift ride to the top. Glacier National Park, a hiker's paradise, is near the Lodge. There are 55 miles of bike trails. Whitefish Lake, Hungry Horse Reservoir and Tally Lake are boating destinations close to Good Medicine Lodge. A lift provides 360-degree views of Glacier National Park and Flathead Valley. Dog sledding is a winter activity. Guests can experience more than a mile of flying on six separate zip lines. Whitefish Montana and Glacier National Park host disc golf courses.
Location and Transportation
Good Medicine Lodge is 25 km from Glacier Park International. It is situated in Whitefish, which may better serve visitors traveling by Amtrak or wanting to rent a car without returning to the airport. The lodge is located next to Bonsai Brewery Project. The FREE S.N. O. W. shuttle bus provides transport to Whitefish Mountain Resort. Stumptown Ice Den is a block away. Whitefish is home to 55 miles of bike trails. Whitefish Lake, Hungry Horse Reservoir and Tally Lake are boating destinations close to the lodge.
