GRANDMA'S CABIN YELLOWSTONE VACATION HOME, Island Park

Grandma's Cabin, located 60 km from West Yellowstone, MT, offers three bedrooms: a master bedroom with a king size bed, a second bedroom with three queen beds, and a third with one queen bed. The cottage features a fully-equipped kitchen, dining area, seating area, gas fireplace, satellite TV, clothes washer, and tumble dryer. The 1.5 bathrooms serve the needs of the cabin. Guests can use the free Wi-Fi. Rates are based on 10 guests with a maximum occupancy of 10.

Guests can enjoy fly fishing in the Henry's Fork of the Snake River. Harriman State Park offers trails. Guests can pick a trail from the variety of books and maps at the cabin. The Island Park driving tour is available for guest use in Grandma's bookcase. Mesa Falls Scenic Byway provides access to the Upper and Lower Falls and Bear Gulch. Guests can drive the Mesa Falls scenic byway down to the Upper & Lower Falls and Bear Gulch.

Island Park offers activities such as leisurely scenic float trips down the Henry's Fork of the Snake River on the Big Springs National Water Trail. Other activities include boating, kayaking, and canoeing on the Island Park Reservoir. Harriman State Park offers events. The Island Park Village Golf Course is open May-October. Outfitters provide horseback riding experiences. The Henry's Fork of the Snake River is known for fly fishing.

Grandma's Cabin is located in Island Park, Idaho, near Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. Big Springs is 7 km away. The Henry's Fork of the Snake River and the largest undisturbed falls in the entire Columbia River System are a few miles from the cabin. From West Yellowstone, Montana, exit the west entrance from Yellowstone National Park into West Yellowstone, Montana, approximately 30 miles to Grandma's Cabin.

Yellowstone is home to approximately 10,000 active thermal features. Old Faithful geyser erupts as high as 184 feet into the air every 90 minutes (plus or minus 10 minutes). The park has wildlife, such as grizzly bear, black bear, bison, elk, big horn sheep, and moose. Grand Teton National Park features meadows filled with wildflowers and abundant wildlife, pristine lakes, hiking trails, and a multi-use pathway system that includes the Snake River.
