Lone Fir Resort is a casual lodge, RV park and tent campsite in the Pacific Northwest mountain setting. It's located a 6-minute walk from Cougar Park on Yale Lake and 9 miles from Ape Cave lava tubes. Accommodations include single rooms, multi-room units, and stand-alone cabins. All rooms and cabins have coffee makers, microwaves, mini-fridges, and free Wi-Fi. Some units include full kitchens. Each hotel room and camping spot allows up to two licensed vehicles with the exception of Cabin 8 which allows four vehicles. All rooms contain linens, towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, coffee, creamer & sugars, coffee cups, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a TV with 25 channels. We have Apple TVs, stocked with apps where you can log in and enjoy your favorite services. Plus, we have Pluto TV loaded with channels.
Cabin 10 Details
Cabin 10 accommodates up to 4 people. The cabin features a full kitchen, a queen bed in a separate bedroom, and a bunk bed, plus one bathroom with a tub/shower combination. There is a front porch and a full bathroom with a tub.

Lone Fir has an outdoor pool open from mid-June to Labor Day Weekend, a gift shop, camping showers, an on-site restaurant, a clubhouse, and a playground. There are winter equipment rentals, coin-operated laundry facilities, horseshoe pits, a common firepit, a hydrotherapy massage bed, and laundry facilities. All RV sites include 30-amp electricity, water, septic, a firepit, a picnic table, and free Wi-Fi for four devices. All tent sites include a picnic table, a firepit, and free Wi-Fi for four devices. The resort speed limit is 5 MPH.
Activities
Mount St Helens is 50 miles northeast of Portland, Oregon and 96 miles south of Seattle. It is a climb for beginning to advanced mountaineers and is able to be climbed year-round. A trip through the Ape Caves allows viewing lava formations within the volcanic flow. Ice axes, snowshoes, and trekking poles are available for rent. Resort guests can enjoy activities like skiing and cycling.

Lone Fir Resort provides accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. The resort features a restaurant, bar, and a shared lounge. Dogs are welcome at our RV sites for a $10 per day fee per pet, up to 2 pets per RV site. Quiet time is between 10pm and 8am. Check-out for hotel rooms is at 11am and for RV spots is at 12pm. There is also a High Fire Risk Fee of $10 per stay for hotel guests and $5 per stay for RV guests.
