RIVER LODGE, Island Park

River Lodge offers rooms in the main lodge and private cabins. Economy Lodge Rooms feature 2 double-sized beds. Single-bed rooms provide a quiet mountain feel. Two-Queen lodge rooms offer views of the Henry's Fork of the Snake River and the Sawtelle Mountains. Deluxe Two-Queen lodge rooms offer extra space. Family suites include a Single Queen bed and a bunk bed with full-sized mattresses. Spacious, upscale lodge rooms sleep up to 6 adults. Some rooms include a kitchenette with all the essentials to prepare meals. The River Lodge Family Cabin sleeps 16 people, with 5 queen beds in two bedrooms, a loft, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a main sitting room. Private Cabins with 2 Queen beds have a front porch and rocking chairs. All rooms have a private bathroom with a shower, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and free WiFi. Each unit features comforts such as laptop-friendly workspaces.

The Anglers Lodge Riverfront Restaurant offers meals with the Henry's Fork as a backdrop. Many fly shops and first class outfitters sit next door to the lodging.

The lodge offers opportunities for fly fishing in the Henry's Fork of the Snake River. Guests can explore the Caribou-Targhee National Forest and Henrys Lake State Park. Harriman State Park of Idaho offers horse riding. Winter brings snowmobiling on over 500 miles of groomed trails. Summer activities include ATV and biking trails in the Targhee National Forest. Jet skiing and kayaking are available. Nearby attractions include Yellowstone National Park, Upper and Lower Mesa Falls, Harriman and Henry's Lake State Park, and Island Park Reservoir. Hiking and cycling can be enjoyed close proximity to the lodge.

River Lodge sits in Last Chance, Island Park, 60 km from West Yellowstone, MT. The lodge is 51 km from Yellowstone Airport. Free private parking is available on site. The lodge is located near the Mesa Falls Scenic Byway Pullout, 5 km away.

River Lodge has designated pet rooms/units and charge a $10 per night pet fee. Truck and trailer/boat parking available at the Edgewater Vacation Home near Anglers Lodge or at the River Lodge. During the winter season Anglers Lodge is conveniently located to several trails. Guests may arrange fishing guides through Henry's Fork Anglers, located about 1/2 mile away. Harriman State Park is a great place for an easy ride.
