THE PALACE HOTEL, Port Townsend

The Palace Hotel features 26 accommodations, each different in style. Nineteen rooms have antique furnishings and a Victorian ambiance, while seven rooms feature modern furnishings. Some rooms can accommodate up to four guests with two queen beds, while Room 20 can accommodate up to six guests with an added air bed. All rooms include free Wi-Fi. The Palace Hotel is a three-story building with Romanesque architectural details, water views, and a Victorian and modern ambiance. The hotel provides free parking and free Wi-Fi for all guests. An Overnight Manager is on the premises from 10 PM to 8 AM. Safety features include a carbon monoxide detector, a fire extinguisher, a smoke detector, a security system, and window guards. No smoking or vaping of any substance or open flames are allowed in the hotel. Weapons are not allowed inside the Palace Hotel. Limited parking is provided on a first come first served basis. Tampering with smoke alarms will result in a $200 fine.

Only seven rooms can accommodate dogs (Rooms 20, 21, 22, 30, 31, 32, and 33). Dogs must be registered with the front desk and kept on a leash in common areas. Dogs are not to be left unattended in hotel rooms; a violation will result in a $150 charge and eviction. Guests must check with the front desk about local dog-walking and dog-sitting services. Guests will be responsible for the cost of repair and/or replacement of any items damaged by their dog. A 'Dog Kit' is provided, complete with a water bowl, a food bowl, a sheet, and a dog towel. Do not bathe dogs in the hotel. Check with the front desk about local dog-grooming services. Dogs must be up to date on all vaccinations and actively treated for ticks and fleas.
