Otters Pond Bed & Breakfast, an adult retreat on Orcas Island, has 5 suites available year-round, each with a private bath and a unique view of either Otters Pond or the garden. The west-facing suites feature sweeping pond views, while the east-facing suites offer serene forest views with pine cross-breezes. Some suites include clawfoot soaking tubs, while others feature duel head walk-in showers. One small, romantic room has a four-poster queen bed and pictures depicting Orcas Island wildlife by local artists. The Swan Room has a Smart TV for use with personal media accounts like Hulu and Roku. All suites include free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, luxury linens and soaps, a shared guest refrigerator, a beverage station, a guest library, and garden views.
Breakfast from Scratch
Otters Pond features a daily breakfast prepared by Chef Amanda from scratch using fresh ingredients from the garden and island farms. The menu changes daily. Warm biscuit scones with raspberry jam served at the Puyallup Fair are the inspiration behind the perfectly crisp scones with a light and fluffy interior.
Island Activities
Guests can lounge on the decks for fantastic views of birds and other wildlife that visit the property. The inn provides outdoor covered hot tub, spa robes for the journey by request. Orcas Island is a destination for nature enthusiasts, foodies, and adventure seekers. The island's two noteworthy state parks, Moran State Park and Obstruction Pass State Park, primarily attract guests for overnight camping in the summer. Guests can simply take a shorter, aerobic stroll up the path from the parking lot on the South trail. Visitors can attend the Saturday farmer's market or one of the town's many excellent restaurants.
