Rooms at Kalaloch Lodge
Kalaloch Lodge features multiple lodging options: the Main Lodge, Cabins, and Seacrest House. The Main Lodge offers rooms with views of Kalaloch Creek and the Pacific Ocean. The Kalaloch Suite includes an open sitting area, a two-person tub, and a walk-in shower. Becker's Suite features a king bed, a wood-burning fireplace, a microwave, and satellite TV. Seacrest House provides studio rooms and suites, each with a private patio or balcony. Cabins have full kitchens with a four-burner stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. Kitchenettes include a two-burner stove, microwave, toaster, mini-fridge, and coffee maker. Cabins with wood-burning stoves or fireplaces receive one complimentary bundle of wood for each night.
Dining at Creekside Restaurant
Creekside Restaurant serves fresh, local, sustainable cuisine, alongside ocean views. The restaurant is open for breakfast from 7 AM to 10:30 AM, lunch from 11:30 AM to 3 PM, and dinner from 4 PM to 9 PM. It is a Certified Green Restaurant. The menu includes options with calorie counts, meat, seafood, eggs, dairy, and produce without hormones and steroids, plus food without trans fats. The wine selection features Washington wines.
Leisure and Activities
Kalaloch Lodge is near Olympic National Park attractions, including the Tree of Life near Kalaloch Campground. Guests can explore tide pools near Kalaloch, Second Beach, Third Beach, and Hole-in-the-Wall. Another route is the Hoh Lake Trail, which splits off from the Hoh River Trail and leads up 22 switchbacks to Bogachiel Peak, between Hoh and Sol Duc valleys. Board games are available in the Main Lodge. Yard games, including tether ball, cornhole, frisbee, football, soccer, bocce ball, ring toss, and sand toys are available for overnight guests.
Location and Access
Kalaloch Lodge is located 200 miles west of Seattle. By car, take Highway 8 to Elma, connecting with Highway 12 to Aberdeen, then Highway 101 North to Kalaloch. From Victoria's Inner Harbour, take the Black Ball Ferry Line - "MV Coho" to Port Angeles, WA, then Highway 101 West through Forks to Kalaloch. The William R. Fairchild International Airport is the closest airport to Olympic National Park; Seattle's Sea-Tac Airport is a three-hour drive away. It is located near the Hoh Rain Forest.
